Totally Folked by Penny Reid

Spoiler Free-A Quick Review

I am doing a quick review, otherwise, I could go on and on with the love I have for this book and Penny Reid. Being back in Green Valley, having the Winston men making appearances, having Reid create her characters perfect for these stories...makes me so happy. Yes, even giddy, because when it is all said and done, Reid ALWAYS gives us moments that will ring so true about relationships, all types, whether parental, or with friends, or with the ones who make our hearts sing.

This was so easy to read. We had a man who was a reformed player, seriously reformed.
He realized the errors of his ways, of how he wanted to change and achieve the type of relationship he saw his parents had. They had been a loving role model and he saw the hard work, dedication, and willingness to listen to each other first hand. This was what he thought should be.

Our love interest for him was someone whose family life was nothing like his. She had no father role model and her mother was accomplished, extremely independent, and accomplished, and instilled in her daughter that only She should be responsible for her own decisions.

These two come together under the spell that Green Valley usually causes when an outsider comes for a brief visit. Sparks happen, interest continues long after the first visit, and then when they meet again...It Is On.

Do yourself a favor, buy this book, go someplace where you can dig in, and enjoy. It will light up your mood, and receive those incredible life lessons Reid planted, too.
