Mr. Smithfield by Louise Bay

When parents show their children who they are and it isn't the best, it leaves a lasting impression. It can make the child decide when they become a man of how they never want to be anything like what they experienced. It can drive them to make decisions based on a falsehood, on thinking that by pursuing a certain type of career, of marrying who he thought would be right, he would never be like his dad. This concept is front and center for our main character, Gabriel, in the interconnected books by Louise Bay.

Gabriel comes from old money and his father lived a Trust Fund Baby lifestyle.
Gabriel swore he would never be like that, with no purpose in his life. He married the woman he thought was right, they had a beautiful little girl, and soon after, the woman left him, never explaining why. This caused him to dedicate himself to taking care of his daughter, setting aside everything but work. He would provide and care for her as if his life depended on it, and it did.

Autumn finds herself in London. She has landed an intern program at a company that has now informed her, it has been put on hold for six months. Autumn has worked too hard to give up, she has been focused on traveling overseas for years. Autumn has a very strong sense of how to see things...to be as positive as she can. Luckily her sister Hollie found love with Dexter, one of Gabriel's guys and he needs a nanny for his daughter.

This is perfect, Autumn will live under Gabriel's roof, working and taking care of Bethany, and then going on a month-long tour of Europe before starting her job.

It all sounds so simple but in practice, maybe not.

Because Gabriel is Magazine Ad Handsome, Grumpy, and Broody. He is hard to resist but resist him Autumn does. Little does she know Gabriel is having the same issues...but due to the heartbreak he had with his ex, he vows to keep his head down and stay away from Autumn.

It is only a matter of time...
And when circumstances cause them to cross the line...Yum.

There is much more to this than the romance of these two. It is learning to understand what really is important, what makes you tick, and to find that thing in life and go for it. If You Love What You Do Every Day, Then You Never Are Just Working...You are Doing What You Love.

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels - the kind she likes to read. Her next release will be Mr. Smithfield on April 13th.

Ruined by bonk-busters and sexy mini-series of the eighties Louise loves all things sexy and romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.

Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn't have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
