I Love The Way Kandi Steiner Writes Swoon. I have no shame in my desire to feel deep in my soul, the flirt, the sweet, the hot, and yummy times reading Steiner, provides.

In The Right Player, she gave us feisty, smart, and sexy Belle playing the part of an independent woman, hear me roar.
She had been burned in the past, so the idea of relationships is off the table. She has come up with what works for her: hitting it, having some fun, and closing it down after a total of three dates. By maintaining control, she has no pain and all gain.

Makoa Kumaka has his own three date rule. He has discovered the ugly side of being famous for being a pro football player. The women are sniffing out how much money his contract was, how big was his signing bonus, and want the ring and tie him up because of the status of what he does, not loving him for the person inside.

In order to feel out the women interested in him, his three-date rule is no touchy touchy until after the three dates.

Period.

Now here is the surprise for these two. Makoa is liking Belle from the start and her not knowing who the hell he is, is this added bonus for him. If he pursues this dating with Belle, he gets to just be with her. Makoa does know there is a hiccup to this idea because lying is never cool.

These two are so much fun together. We get a bit of age difference between them, he is younger, and the sexy times, SWOON. Then there is all the fun with the besties from both. Throw in Chicago, of course, football, and this works on all levels.

I loved The Wrong Guy and this is the perfect partner. I always want more Ms. Steiner so I will keep looking for what's next.

Kandi Steiner is a bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing “emotional rollercoaster” stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance — in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you’re a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she’s your gal.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took a particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die-hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.

When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys live music, traveling, anything heavy in carbs, beach days, movie marathons, craft beer and sweet wine — not necessarily in that order.
