Butterfly in Frost by Sylvia Day

Sylvia Day is back. She has a career to marvel. I first found out about her like many others through Bare to You, the first entry of the Crossfire series. While I waited for additional parts of the series, I found her older books, Seven Years to Sin and The Stranger I Married. These historicals were just as compelling and sexy as the contemporary work.

It has been a long minute since a new release from Ms. Day so the anticipation may be mixed. Mixed due to those who love her work, which we all do, can't wait for anything she could write...and then those who were concerned with the way the Crossfire Series became this never-ending wait.

No matter what you may initially feel, Ms. Day is back hardcore.

She has created passionate, intense characters who are both equally damaged. Both are trying to reinvent themselves and when they meet in this location each has come to separately, the attachment they both feel immediately/insta is undeniable.

And...isn't that the Day way...Readers need to strap in and get ready for classic Day relationships. Lots of quick attraction, need and an undercurrent of so many secrets. There is an honest look at depression and loss and how it impacts a person.

This is could be the first entry to stories with these characters...but you are not left hanging as to the commitment these two have. Oh, and if you are a Sylvia Day reader than you know the chemistry/sexy times are exactly what you would expect.
