Blurb

The NHL's biggest bad boy is about to fall for the virgin next door…

I am the world’s biggest dating failure. We’re talking my last date went home with our waitress kind of failure.

But I have an ace in the back pocket of my mom jeans—my sexy-as-sin best friend, NHL superstar forward, Justin Cruise.

Justin owes me favors dating back to seventh grade, long before he became a hotshot with a world famous…stick. So in return for my undying platonic loyalty, all I want is an easy-peasy crash course on how to be a sex goddess.

How hard can it be?

***

I have never been so hard in my life.

The things I want to do to my sweet, kindergarten-teaching, mitten-crocheting best friend Libby Collins are ten different kinds of wrong. Maybe twenty.

But I’m a firm believer in teaching by example, and by the end of our first lesson, we’ve graduated to a hands on approach to her sexual education: my hands all over her, her hands all over me, and her hot mouth melting beneath mine as I prove to her there isn’t a damned thing wrong with the way she kisses.

Give me a month, and I’ll transform Libby from wall flower to wall banger, and ensure she’s confident enough to seduce any guy she wants.

Problem is… the only guy I want her seducing is me.

Hot as Puck is a sexy, flirty, friends-to-lovers Standalone romantic comedy from USA Today Bestseller Lili Valente.

A Review by Diane

Hot as Puck
5 STARS!!!!

A copy was generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Hot as Puck is EVERYTHING I love in a romance!!!   It was sensual, sexy, playful and held a lot of emotion from these wonderfully created, vulnerable characters of Libby Collins and Justin Cruise.   I usually like my heroines to be smart and sassy, but Libby was almost the complete opposite…..a sweet and demure kindergarten teacher who is not sure of herself, doesn’t know what she is capable of and definitely can’t get a handle on what she wants in a boyfriend, or how to entice them.  But you know what?  Even with all these insecurities, I ended up loving and rooting for Libby to get what she wanted!!!  Good thing one of her best friends from 7th grade, Justin Cruise,  who happens to be a NHL hot as sin, but a crochet hooking (yup the man really loves to crochet to relax) hockey player is willing to help her “find herself” and to show her the ropes in how to handle dating and sex.  And with their agreement to be “friends with benefits” what can possibly go wrong?????  Or right as the case may be, as Justin soon finds out he wants to be the ONLY one that shows Libby these things…..he doesn’t want to be helping her find that perfect boyfriend.   He wants Libby all to himself…..he just has trouble realizing it for what it is……falling in love with his best friend!!!  And ditto for our girl Libby.  She soon discovers that Justin is the only hot boyfriend she will ever want, but how do you tell your best friend that you are falling in love with him????  Oh the dilemma of hiding the hot lust you have for your best friend.

A wonderful friends-to-lovers story that I couldn’t put down!  Laced with wonderful humor and mild ups and downs in a relationship, I think Lili Valente has a real winner in Hot as Puck.

Hot as Puck is the first standalone novel in the Bad Motherpuckers series by Lili Valente.  If the other books to come in this series are half as good as Hot as Puck, sign me up!!   I can’t wait for the next book in this series to read!!!
