It took a while for sexual harassment to be taken seriously in the workplace. Laws were put in place. Times are not perfect...but people are now aware of how unwanted advances and power over another can impact careers....and that is an excellent thing. This awareness can complicate consenting adults who work together, though...and this is part of the theme in Heartbreaker (Filthy,Dirty Love #1) by Stacey Kennedy.

You take a woman who has recently been dumped by the long time thought to be future guy by EMAIL...We have her in the bar... nursing her wounds. She is pissed, sick of being the good girl and deciding from this moment on...she is going to do things differently.

She sees a Man with a capital M...muscular, strong and both of them are sending signals to each other that they would be open to more than just Eye-F@cking...He swaggers over to her, they dance and grind...and then they are locked in the single use bathroom...

He is feeling his way with her...kissing, touching, and whispering in her ear...making sure this woman is on board for fun and games...She doesn't seem like a woman who did this type of one and done...He is wanting her but makes sure like always she is understanding of The Rules...

He doesn't do repeats...Ever...
That is Oki doki with her....
She is about to start the police academy and will have no time for men...
Let the sexual fun begin...

And boy did it...
It was the best for her...
Not surprising because the ex was never looking out for her pleasure... only his...

But more surprising, it was something special and different for him.
This hook up was more...and thoughts of it ruined all of the other hook ups for him after...

One Year Later and Life plays a trick on both of them...

She has graduated from the academy and she has been placed under his supervision...Which means she has to see the stimulus of all her sexual fantasies in the flesh Every Single Day.
He hasn't had a day go by since she has been under his command when he hasn't wanted her under him.

But both know, hooking up again is not going to happen-
He doesn't do repeats...and any action by him will cause both of their careers to go into the sh!tter...

There's just this one little problem...
He cannot stop thinking of her; wanting to taste her, feel her, hear her moan like she did...

He is going to do something he never does...He is going to have her again...if she is interested...
Yes, she is and then it turns out one more time isn't enough...

This is a story which on the surface is hot, dominate, forbidden and did I say hot...
Yup, Tied up, Blindfolded, Wax Play etc.... Hot...

It also touches on a bit more, though. Our guy has issues with putting himself out there for fear of being hurt...abandonment stuff from a Mom who left when he was young. He holds everything close and doesn't let others in.

She is a woman who is wanting more... more for herself and is tired of always pleasing everyone else first. This thing with him is her taking pleasure for the first time... her thinking of only what she will receive... amazing new, daring sex...and she thinks she can handle this Friends with benefits thing...

But of course it gets complicated....

Stacey Kennedy knows how to write smokin' hot scenes...and what I liked the most was our gal knew what she was capable of emotionally and was strong about it when it mattered.

This was a Sexy Times book with a little more to it then just that...Enjoy.
