I applaud Melissa Foster. She has come up with a way of giving her readers far more than just a romance filled with Sexy Times, Hot Billionaire Men and Women who make them work for it. She has figured out a way to insert real emotional issues, warm heart situations and humor, too. Make no mistake... these books are smokin'...but they also have some true moments which make them so likeable.

I haven't read many in this series but that did not impact my enjoyment of this particular book....and I truly did enjoy it. It was primarily free of heavy angst (Yeah!), had some serious life lessons, amazing chemistry between the main couple...and a respect for each of them...
Yes Equal respect for each character's careers... Woo Hoo!

Which was the main thrust (see how I did that :DDD) of the story. We have two very successful people... equals. Tiffany is an up and coming Sports Agent. She has devoted herself to being the best... and really has no personal life. She comes from a family of achievers...and is loved by them. The heartbreak is her mom left the dad when she was ten...She also experienced in college a player... one who hurt her badly...

So, Tiffany drew the line in the sand...

Career was it. She was strong from her upbringing of all men and having to guide herself without a mom... and her love of sports made her the best at what she does. When she wants a stress release...it is a hit it and then poof she is gone...
Oh, and don't forget... she has her cell phone attached to her at all time... even during sex... if a call comes in...She is that driven...

Hey, don't knock it... it has worked for her.

Tiffany had been living in Los Angeles but moved back to Manhattan to be closer to her dad. He has been under the weather and has landed in the hospital for a closer watch. She has decided to find an office and pursue a bigger presence in the business. She stops into a bar to make some calls and check emails. She realizes there is a wedding going on in the back area... an associate in her business is getting married; one of the Bad Brothers. She takes a look and lands on a man who screams Hot, Sexy and Commanding...he turns out to be....

Dylan Bad... the owner of the bar. Dylan is one of the Bad Brothers... and he is anything but bad...He is delicious. He has everything a woman could want... the muscular build which shows everything off... but not that too cut one...He has sparkling eyes and when he looks at you... your mind goes numb...

Dylan and his brothers haven't had the perfect life either. It started out that way... with all of the brothers and a little kid sister who was the light of everyone's life. But then life happened and she became ill...and her leaving them hit everyone in the family hard. The parents broke up; each brother took the pain differently...and Dylan bonded with his mom through all of this.

Dylan, out of all the guys, was the more free with his heart... he was willing to put himself out there...and when his eyes landed on Tiffany, he was all in for whatever she had in mind.

What neither of them could anticipate was how much they had in common under all of their layers.

This starts out smokin' hot...but what made this all the worthwhile was what happened after...We got a very special guy in Dylan...He was the one who saw from the start there was so much more than what Tiffany allowed others to see...he saw the woman, the girly girl mushy part she cloaked so well. He wanted to find out more. He wanted into her head... not to play games... but to connect... and keep it real. He also, as I said earlier, respected her career and how driven she was... he was Never threatened by it...And that is friggin' sexy as hell...

And speaking of Sexy...Oh, Yeah...Off The Charts Sexy, Thank You Very Much.

Now Tiffany had a lot to learn, not in the bedroom...she was just as strong there as in the board room...No, she had to learn to open herself up to being free ...to stop holding back because she was afraid she would lose herself. Dylan saw all of her fears and handled them perfectly...He gave her baby steps to help her through... and everything fell into place.

This was a delight to read...for those who have been reading the series... it will be a win win with past characters making appearances. There are other Bad Brothers to discover... whether in past books to look for or new ones coming...All I can say is these brothers may be named Bad...But the reading is Good.
