Garrett (Cold Fury #2) by Sawyer Bennett

A Review by Wendy
4.5 Seriously Good Stars
* * * *

This continues the new series of Sawyer Brown's Hockey team, Cold Fury.
First, please take a moment to honor this cover....yes, artfully done.. yet gasp worthy.

What is the best... the story lives up to the promise. This is a tale which was hinted in the first book of the series, Alex... and the promise of Garrett was firmly planted... and it has blossomed and born some of the sweetest fruit. This book is brimming over with sensuality, heart, humor and care.

The heart and soul of this story is huge... be prepared to swoon for Garrett. This is a story which has so much going for it yet balances serious life experiences with a deft hand. It was never over the top... it just told it like it is... these things happen... it is what you do; how you handle them and move forward...

I applaud the author in presenting this story with realism, humor and yes.... that hot sexy way Bennett knows how to do...and nothing is more sexy than both characters being strong, playful and human. By giving us both POV's... we were treated to the real deal.

This was a terrific addition to the Cold Fury series... and it will be interesting what comes next.

I will advise those who's  trigger is serious illness may need to be prepared.

A gifted copy was provided by publisher for an honest review.
