Synopsis

He’s exquisitely hot. Exquisitely tousled. Exquisitely screwed in the head.

Cammibelle Hicks just wants to survive her first year of college. Desperate to forget her troubled past, she throws herself into her degree and book review blog. So what if her life is one long tumblr page of grumpy cat GIFs? She doesn't need to get out more, and she definitely doesn't need a man.

Hunter von Styles approaches life like he’s spoiling for a fight: with a tempting scowl. A cage-fighting, ex-rocker billionaire, it’s unclear why Hunter’s at college. Frankly, it makes no sense. Then Cammie falls into him—literally—at a party, and he’s obsessed. He needs her more than a moist towelette at a barbecue.

Though Cammie’s friends warn her against Hunter, she can’t resist his charms; especially not when he buys her shoes. And GoodReads. And a unicorn. But when her handsome best friend, medieval reenactor Archer Riddick, makes a play for her heart—and challenges Hunter to a jousting match—it turns out that Hunter has demons of his own. Demons that aren't real ones, but metaphorical ones—which are MUCH WORSE, when you think about it…

Join Hunter and Cammie on an emotionally exhausting journey into love.

And co-dependence.

And probably therapy.

Review

What a freakin hilarious book - I was laughing throughout 90% of this book.
If you loved the movies "Scary Movie" or "Airplane" and you are addicted to the New Adult genre along with Goodreads, then you will appreciate this book.

There was one (out of hundreds) funny saying that I can't just stop using now...."Vaj Mahal". This author takes the common similarities between the hottest NA books and exaggerates these from being a virgin to our hero's tousling hair.

Yeah, some parts were really stupid and didn't really fit into the story, but putting that aside with any parody whether it be a book or a movie - overall this story will have you at times spitting soda out your nose and mouth.

Hunter is your typical man-whore, cage-fighter, ex rock idol, billionaire tormented hero who has his sights set on our heroine Cammibelle Hicks - sweet, quiet, bloggin, GoodReads lovin, virgin. They both have secrets from their past that hinder them from having a relationship.....Cammi's best friend Archer is in love with her but she doesn't have a clue and Enid is a slut who is secretly in love with Archer......is this all sounding familiar?

I loved being able to understand her problems with Goodreads and all the rules she had to endure and all the little innuendos that non-GR groupie would get. It was also fun trying to figure out which books the author decided to include in her parody.

Wrap Up

All in all this was a fun loving book - if you have an afternoon where you are in need of a good laugh....this is definitely the book to have with you!

About this Author

Lucy V. Morgan writes sharp contemporary fiction, usually with a liberal splatter of filth. She is the author of the new adult WHORED series and the stand-alones TWISTED SUMMER and BEAUTIFUL MESS.

In her new adult parody, TOUSLE ME, Lucy pays homage to her genre in the best way she knows how: by mocking it mercilessly.

Lucy lives in England, where she also works as an editor. She spends her spare time consuming lebkuchen, working through her TBR pile, and pretending she's an urban fantasy heroine in body combat classes.
