Synopsis

I love two men. I screw two men. I am in a relationship with them both, and they are both aware there is another. That is all they need to know, that is all I let them know. They don’t need to know a name; they don’t need to know anything, but that they are not alone in my heart.

I should have paid more attention, should have looked around and noticed the woman who watched it all. She sat in the background and waited, tried to figure me out. Saw my two relationships, the love between us, and the moment that it all fell apart.

EVERYTHING else hangs in the balance.

Review

When I first received the ARC of this book, I was so leery about reviewing it. I have a hard time when there is a "love triangle" because someone always seems to get hurt. Normally that person is ME!! I end up feeling so much pain for the person who is not chosen. I had to - just had to read it though because it is a book from one of my MOST FAVORITE authors, Alessandra Torre! She never, ever writes a book I can't connect with. So....I did the next best thing and read it as a "Buddy Read" with my friends on GR. A support group I really needed at the time...and I'll explain why in a bit.

HOLY SHIT.....this book BLEW me away - I mean it literally kept me up at night (on a work night) just so I could finish it. There were so many times in the book that I was like "WTF" - Alessandra twisted and turned the plot around to have the reader never guessing what was coming next. Besides all that, this book is sensual, sexual and sucks the reader in right from the get go!!

I can't even express all my feelings about this book and the emotions it stirred while reading - I can only say that if you want to "FEEL" and have your MIND FUCKED....then join the Alessandra Torre ride! She NEVER disappoints.

Damn...how'd she know I'd be reading tonight....bring me some extra coffee in the AM! :-)

It was a freaking blast taking in everyone's comments at that climatic point around 40% of the book ----

I'll make you a deal - if you read the book and get to that point without your jaw dropping and cocking your head ----- I'll eat my words. You send me a message and I will publicly apologize. That's how sure I am that you will suck this book up and never know what hit you!

I am not going to give you a rundown of the book because I wouldn't be able to do this book justice.

Wrap Up

If there is any doubt in your mind that you will not be able to handle a "love triangle" - don't worry - it's not like that at all.

If you enjoy passion, love, suspense, mystery, and angst then this book is definitely for you.....be warned though - have some Kleenex available.
