This is a beautiful tale of man who likes things where they are and how they are, he couldn’t be more against change. I feel like this story so perfectly described my Papaw. He was a grumpy man, but you could always see and feel how big his heart was even though he tried to hide it.

I didn't expect to feel so much emotion reading this one, but it literally tore my heart out. I am not sure if it is because I have lost my grandfather or if it is just a story that will touch everyone. While this isn’t my typical type of read, I still enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching Ove’s world grow, I wouldn’t say he changed, but maybe people were just able to finally see him.

This is a beautiful story of unconditional love and learning that there is more then what meets the eye.
