I guess I'll start....I LOVED the book I LOVED the story and I LOVED the characters....
but I still can't it out of my head that it cleaned up too quickly and perfectly at the end.
I'm amazed that I'm the only one after reading the reviews that this bothered. Normally I am the one who follows the beat of the drummer instead of creating my own...so I'm not comfortable with this.
Here's my dilemma - do I follow everyone else and just write how PERFECT I found the book to keep the ruddy waters calm or do I speak my mind?
The deal is though - I did LOVE the book - I would have just liked to have seen a bit more drama and complications toward the end.
Examples....the aunt cleaned up too much to easily - I would have liked to see Lee be the original personality of Brant and it was the aunt who kept medicating Brant to keep that personality so she could get rich.....and the murderer was brushed off too quickly.
See my conundrum? I will get bashed if I voice my opinion!
