OK…this was a complete twist…I was bawling my eyes out in the beginning
of the book instead of more near the end.
Wonderful heartfelt debut novel about second chances regarding love lost
and found again. I think the kicker for
me was Tyler – the perfect man who wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes
to Brooke. He wants more; she is scared
to push the relationship past the “friend” stage. Another plus for this book is Brooke. She isn’t a whiney, stupid woman – instead she
has endured hell and just grew stronger because of it. She totally reminded me of that saying, “What
doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.”
I enjoyed experiencing the journey of Brooke while she rebuilt her life
along with the friendships she created and the love she had in abundance to
share. This was a fantastic and quick
read (after the initial sob fest).
I definitely will be on the lookout for more books from this author in
the future.
