Synopsis
The man was sinful. It wasn't just the looks that made him dangerous, it was the cocky confidence that dominated every move, every touch. And the frustrating yet ecstatic fact about the whole package was that he could back it all up…Julia Campbell never knows what to expect with win-at-all-costs Brad De Luca. And she's starting to like it that way. She gave up safe, conventional relationships when she let the elite divorce attorney seduce her into his world. Now that he's determined to strip her naked of every inhibition, she's in danger of falling too deep and too fast.
But their affair begins to feel even more dangerous when a murder leaves a trail of suspicion that points straight to the mob…and Brad. Trusting a man with a bad reputation and a past full of secrets seems like a mistake. But when she's forced to make a choice, the consequences will take her further than she could ever have imagined.
Excerpt
Gorgeous, sexy, and feral, the closer we came to the party, the more intense Brad's eyes became. He was aroused, I realized. He had taken only one item from Carlos, a black executioner’s hood. I was both scared and excited to see what it would look like on.
We got in the car and I waited till the driver shut the door before I turned to him. “I-”
His mouth was on me before I got the second word out. He cupped my chin in his hand and took my mouth with his. He pulled hard on my neck and I leaned forward, his other hand grabbing to pull me on his lap. I straddled him, grinding against his crotch while we kissed. His hands gripped my ass and then traveled in between my legs, and he pulled away from my mouth with a sexy scowl when he felt my panties.
“What’s this?” he murmured, sliding a finger underneath my thong and dipping inside me, causing my eyes to close and my breath to hitch.
“I think they’re called panties,” I whispered, pushing against his hand, wanting more than his finger inside of me.
“You are already wet...” he breathed in wonder, sliding a second finger in with the first, stretching my pussy tight around his digits and moving them together in wonderful unison.
I groaned and ground against him, and he slowly withdrew his fingers, sliding his wet fingers over my clit and then away, and my eyes popped open, missing the pleasure. I pouted down at him.
“I want to keep you hot for the party,” he said gruffly. He looked up at me, smiling in the darkness. “You look so different.”
I tilted my head, grinning. “Good different?”
“I like the normal you better. This is good though, makes me feel like I’m with a strange woman.”
I bit my lip and looked at him deviously. “Strange woman can be bad.”
“I like bad,” he whispered, and I felt his fingers brush my sensitive skin, once again tugging at the lace of my thong.
A Review by Wendy
4 Revealing, Responsive, Sensual, Mysterious, Brad De Luca
Stars * * * *
There are men we see … they can be sitting at the bar in the
restaurant where you are having a late lunch… you see them and wonder … why are
they there and how could your life bring you to be a part of theirs…. These men
are forces in the world… they conjuring fantasies and thoughts … things never
spoken of or shared… and they do it just by being in the same room with you.
Brad De Luca is one of those men and Alessandra Torre
created him in all his glory in her book, Blindfolded Innocence. Brad is
partner in a high profile law firm and he is the darling of the divorce courts.
We went on his journey of self- discovery with the intern at the firm, Julia.
He learned he wanted the constant rather than the hook ups…
he wanted Julia to share his lifestyle… she partook of the sharing…. and is now
on board with an exclusive relationship… well, exclusive in that if they
partake with others… they both are always there.
In Masked Innocence, we are voyeurs…. Yes… we watch and
feel; we experience a gathering of very exclusive participants … clothing is
optional, behavior varied but most importantly, consensual. Brad leads Julia and us through all of it and
we go gladly…
We taste the power of the firm, intrigue is bountiful;
touching more players than it should, putting people in danger. We watch, learn
and listen…. More is revealed about Mr. De Luca causing us to realize we, in
fact, really know very little about him at all.
Julia, like us, learns more and more … she tests the
boundaries of their relationship… with concerns about holding on to her
identity, career and power.
There is no question, however, in their ability together to
satisfy the need… the pulsating craving… the all consuming want which both have
for each other… it doesn’t matter where – when or how often… she is there for
him and him for her.
The surprising conveyor of humor and insight is Martha… she
takes care of Brad and his home… She is the voice … the messenger of what is to
come and also gives us a different vision of our Brad.
Masked Innocence brings us closer to Brad De Luca and anything
that does that is a winner. It does have some events which caused me to
question why at times which my rating reflects.
There is a final installment coming… and from what I have learned
through Masked Innocence…. It will be a doozy.
I will continue to keep my eyes open and senses awake…
because I know deep in my heart… there will be a time… when I will cross paths
with one of those men we talked about… but until then… I have Brad De Luca.
