Ms. Nicholas has been making me swoon for YEARS, and with each of the
tales she tells, she gives amazing love stories but also informs us
about all sorts of life experiences that happen in the Real World, too. <br /><br />It is this layering of extra that impacts the swoon and the making of these characters.</b>
We experience and learn what heart-tugging challenges each person is
dealing with. These hurdles impact who they are and give us an
understanding of how these people have been dealing with all of them. It
also works as a way for readers to possibly see themselves in these
situations and learn more information to assist in their own lives. Not a
small feat. <br /><br />As to this relationship between Colin Daily and
Hayden Ross, O.M.G. and Yum, Yum. Each brings so much to this tale. They
are strong, giving, caring and sexy. We get to see from the very
beginning how the attraction starts and how Colin is extremely good for
Hayden and Hayden is amazing for Colin. We also get to enjoy all that is

Hank Hardcore, Charlotte was a perfect match for him, and this book
made me smile. So, as I warned, the actual review part for this specific
book was short. <br /><i>But my continuing love for Penny Reid and her
ability to weave tales for us revolving around the world first created
by the Winstons has grown stronger and stronger with each entry. <br /><br />As
someone who has been reading romance and reviewing for more than a
decade, I have had my taste of continuing series with new characters
that then have their own series. </i></b>It is not always a successful
transition. It takes a lot of planning, and the necessary laying of the
groundwork early on to tease readers in other books so that when the new
series happens, everyone is primed and ready to latch on and actually
be interested. That may sound easy but who can predict future trends and
wants of readers...It takes true talent to understand the need to hold
the course and just be true to the tales you are writing, come what may.
<br /><br />Penny Reid's ability to do just that has been her superpower
from the start of her Knitting in the City series. She took her point of
view, gave us unique engaging characters that made us think, and gave
us little glimpses of everyday human feelings that we all may have
experienced at one moment or another, plus the type of romance that we
all long for...human, real but also a bit of fantasy. <br /><br />No one
written by her was perfect and not relatable. Each character had that
vulnerability at some point where we could see ourselves and we were
able to learn life lessons from the actions taken to resolve whatever
had happened. <br /><br />Oh, and all of this was done with liberal doses of
humor, heart, angst, and really fun sexy times. Nothing was left out,
intense feelings were paired with hysterically funny times. Sly
sarcastic takes on situations were backed up with moral decisions. <br /><br />So
this is why I have loved all of the books by Reid because she has
continued to do all of the above, no matter which series she writes for,
which character she focuses on...they all are winners. <br /><br />This entry hits all of these points. End of Review :D</span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlOXeVkyzviT9wAhO6i0qffXkudc0f9F1JpHcU6CedOwFHEQbtljMc4Y4fLdd80JTq64yL7VEFMHtRcGMT6LtUZL-1Aj0siAYMYXLPQohcDAGjJ8R764v8oyHG4nW7-l6YgNcLKee5vk1AuZk863fhuCr_7wau8m1cOpA2iyWb08ivpobPUUaZzJ0Leg/s475/58597663._SY475_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="314" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlOXeVkyzviT9wAhO6i0qffXkudc0f9F1JpHcU6CedOwFHEQbtljMc4Y4fLdd80JTq64yL7VEFMHtRcGMT6LtUZL-1Aj0siAYMYXLPQohcDAGjJ8R764v8oyHG4nW7-l6YgNcLKee5vk1AuZk863fhuCr_7wau8m1cOpA2iyWb08ivpobPUUaZzJ0Leg/s320/58597663._SY475_.jpg" width="212" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/5997227.Penny_Reid">About Penny Reid</a></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">

people keep repeating themselves about a subject. My love for Erin
Nicholas and her creation of these Bayou characters for her recent
series is renowned. All you need to do is look at any of the reviews I
have done, and you will "feel the love".<br /><br />The joke is it is Always
Sincere because when Ms. Nicholas gives us these books, she somehow is
able to present characters we can openly adore, feel as if they are
real, and also have complications like us in Real Life. <br /><br />What's Not To Love????<br /><br />In
this book, we get two people who have always had each other's back, the
type of friendship all would want, and the shared love of a young son. </b>They
had that "chemistry thing" but never ever acted on it because
technically, they had no future as she was destined to leave Autre and

author for me (yes, I know, what was wrong with me), and she really hit
the whole dark, gritty type of tale. This is not for those who don't
deal with graphic violence.<br /><br />Gorgeous Monster has just that as the
man...he is the Mafia King, and was ruthless and unforgiving. His
daughter made friends as a child with a girl who has grown into a
beautiful woman. She has made the huge error of falling for another
mafia type and now is in danger from that family. <br /><br />Her only recourse is to go to our Gorgeous Monster begging for his protection. <br /><br />Oh,
My...What a fire she jumps into...and we get to be there watching how
these two characters spar, how they are forbiddingly attracted to each
other, and how so many rules are broken. <br /><br />Ms. Ferrell takes all of this and makes it work, causing us to want the next book about Benny, Gorgeous Prince. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSFjzDPRWgMWgpeQZY8Do1ZSsDG3OrH8He4vpBiG6pBM_VgBLlQRhRmqpTIhifQJFf-zjBxAsE-mTaLv-AHZNC8tB0P-pH1kSNoA-Jm-49ZFrpj5iNqOugzqkFbPTlGawZzac_FdR7FoiUCYew0V3qwT7mJlw-LT8jcSGrbcbc8BJta2vG47mxqjp8zA/s475/61046203._SY475_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="317" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSFjzDPRWgMWgpeQZY8Do1ZSsDG3OrH8He4vpBiG6pBM_VgBLlQRhRmqpTIhifQJFf-zjBxAsE-mTaLv-AHZNC8tB0P-pH1kSNoA-Jm-49ZFrpj5iNqOugzqkFbPTlGawZzac_FdR7FoiUCYew0V3qwT7mJlw-LT8jcSGrbcbc8BJta2vG47mxqjp8zA/s320/61046203._SY475_.jpg" width="214" /></a></div><br /> <br /><p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/7539473.Charity_Ferrell">About Charity Ferrell</a></span></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">

have already sung my praises for the insightful books L.B. Dunbar does
for those who are not in their 20s or 30s. I mention this because she is
one of the few who addresses the need for these books as well as
portrays those of the older demographics in a true light. Yes, the
characters may be a bit older, but they still are interested in
connecting and feeling things. Oh, and surprise, surprise...they want
and need sex, too! <br /><br />In Merging Wright, </b>we get all the usual
but so much more. There is an understanding of what living a life means,
there will be scares and insecurities. There will be past demons that
will need to be vanquished. Yet, will all of those issues, there will
also be wonderful moments only those who have LIVED can deliver. <br /><br />This is a welcome addition to the Road Trips & Romance series. <p></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"> </span><span class="readable reviewText"><span id="freeTextreview5042121646"><b><i>A gifted copy was provided by the author/publisher for an honest review.</i></b></span></span></p><p><span class="readable reviewText"><span id="freeTextreview5042121646"><b><i></i></b></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><i><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzlznsFG3-VOwvXGTO9-FRPGvT0GkAZhtX8wAclXGICnv3ECmIxgrLVLDuFPzbgVQOmEFPbcksHVCYr_zmoHQNAJbI_EEUHEM5GaSwatYWCxZXRNktzI2x6Kd3Se1ekd2XpFRew7BKAu2bj-u8Y6WJcBzdgeFQPMkz9nHn9-FHjmdLjRNv6FqAAMEVug/s475/60184175._SY475_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="296" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzlznsFG3-VOwvXGTO9-FRPGvT0GkAZhtX8wAclXGICnv3ECmIxgrLVLDuFPzbgVQOmEFPbcksHVCYr_zmoHQNAJbI_EEUHEM5GaSwatYWCxZXRNktzI2x6Kd3Se1ekd2XpFRew7BKAu2bj-u8Y6WJcBzdgeFQPMkz9nHn9-FHjmdLjRNv6FqAAMEVug/s320/60184175._SY475_.jpg" width="199" /></a></i></b></div><br /><p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/8195738.L_B_Dunbar">About L.B. Ms. Bennett gave us glimpses of Coen from the start of this series. We saw how tortured he was, how closed off, and angry his actions were but we never were given any hint of the complex reason other than the survivor guilt of not being on the plane that crashed with his teammates.<br /><br />Coen has been acting out and it has finally caught up with him.</b> He was suspended, possibly facing a court trial, and only with the support from Stone and Gage, did they guide him to go to Stone's cabin and get his head together. Coen believes he is done with hockey, but the team's owner will not hear it, making Coen promise to stay on the roster until the fall camp starts. He agrees and holes up at the cabin.<br /><br />Slowly Coen becomes more relaxed, communing with all the nature, peace, and quiet. He is still overcome with his issues but at least he feels he can breathe. Being on his own with the quiet seems to settle him.<br /><br />Then one day he is on his deck and starts to hear voices coming from the other side of his trees talking about plans. This is the same woman he saw the other day when he was running the trails and he was being the Asshat he had become to her, trying her to get off his land. It did not go well.<br />Now this woman is looking to cut down the trees that separate their property to allow a driveway to be built.<br /><br />No, No, No...that is not going to happen if Coen has anything to say about it. Forget how cute this woman is, forget he is a bit taken with her and likes her feistiness...nope not gonna happen.<br /><br />Tillie is not going to allow this asshat to boss her around and destroy her dream. Her parents would never want her to give up on her dream of opening an art studio and sharing her passion with others.<br /><br />Tillie has dealt with all sorts of obstacles during her young life and this guy is no different. Instead, Tillie goes ahead fighting with everything she has to make this studio happen. She even goes to Coen's cabin to try to work things out and her going there starts a chain reaction neither of them expected.<br /><br />Ms. Bennett has the knack for making us want to know the characters she creates. During the first three books, she teased us just enough to make us be concerned with this man. We could see there was something ugly brewing inside him, something he was nurturing, holding it close, allowing him to be rude and out of control. Bennett gave us insight into the type of childhood and family life he had, and how hockey was everything to him. We wanted him to see his way clear and turn everything around.<br /><br />With having a woman who is strong, positive, and willing to fight back when Coen was out of line, we have the perfect partner for him. This woman allows him to get in touch with the man he was before the crash and PEOPLE, this man is YUM.<br /><br />The relationship is one between equals and is worth reading about. Lucky for us, Ms. Bennett has more characters to reveal and share. Yay!<p></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8Tye_V-ygk0Usk9pii0qq6eEivQvYbbrsJJxWjsCuYw4Jx9O_9s1YH2AdOXg8E3wyfisJREaQ65qX6gWUFt4T6Q8GpRUdmMukYM1EbygxevS-MKDKKKL6t2aB2zi3phCnX6J87fPg0UOWDCmNqouCffd4lygQdjlDxDFajclYnoTv1IhQgqwasS_FLg/s2500/60104725.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2500" data-original-width="1666" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8Tye_V-ygk0Usk9pii0qq6eEivQvYbbrsJJxWjsCuYw4Jx9O_9s1YH2AdOXg8E3wyfisJREaQ65qX6gWUFt4T6Q8GpRUdmMukYM1EbygxevS-MKDKKKL6t2aB2zi3phCnX6J87fPg0UOWDCmNqouCffd4lygQdjlDxDFajclYnoTv1IhQgqwasS_FLg/s320/60104725.jpg" width="213" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div class="PageSection__title"><h3 class="Text Text__title3"><span style="font-family: inherit;">About The Author<span class="ContributorLink__name" data-testid="name"> </span></span></h3><h3 class="Text Text__title3"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span class="ContributorLink__name" data-testid="name">Sawyer Bennett</span></span></h3></div><div class="FeaturedPerson__infoPrimary"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span class="Text Text__body3 Text__subdued"><span class="u-dot-before"></span></span></b></span></div><div><div class="AuthorFollowButton"><div class="ToggleButton" data-testid="ToggleButton"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span class="ToggleButton__noHover"></span></b></span></div></div></div><div class="AuthorPreview"><div class="FeaturedPerson"><div class="TruncatedContent" tabindex="-1"><div class="TruncatedContent__text TruncatedContent__text--medium" data-testid="contentContainer" tabindex="-1"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span class="Formatted"></span></b></span></div></div></div></div><div class="TruncatedContent" tabindex="-1"><div class="TruncatedContent__text TruncatedContent__text--medium TruncatedContent__text--expanded" data-testid="contentContainer" tabindex="-1"><div class="DetailsLayoutRightParagraph"><div class="DetailsLayoutRightParagraph__widthConstrained"><span class="Formatted"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b>New

had me from the start as I wanted to be entertained, have fun, have
some characters who will eventually get insight into who they are, have
sexy times, and allow me to not worry about anything for a while. <br /><br />Mission Accomplished. <br /><br />What
I love about Sarina Bowen's writing is how she has a plan, we know the
plan, and yet...we all can buy into the plan and enjoy it from the first
moment to the end. </b>There isn't any pretending. We know we are going
to have two people who may have started off on not the best of
terms...and then they will have to interact in some way. Each provides
something the other one needs...A win-win for all.<br /><br />The arc of
these interactions, though, causes so much more than anticipated by the
people involved. There is always personal growth, some "eye-opening
realizations" causing a questioning of assumptions that had been made
about the other person.<br /><br />And oh, the romance...<br />The way these two embark on "Love Lessons" Is The Best. Fun, Hot, and Sexy.<br /><br />Of
course, there may have been a hiccup or two, a need to have a bit of
insecurity but in the end...we get what we want plus way more. <br /><br />This
may seem simple to accomplish...but in execution, not so much. It takes
knowing how to make the characters real to the reader, where you feel
as if you would be able to "know" them if you run into them on the
street. It takes understanding their insecurities, being able to have
compassion for mistakes they may have made, or want them to confront
their demons and come out the other end victorious. Bowen does that for
me every single time.<br /><br />This for me was Winner-Winner, Chicken Dinner!<p></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJTBwyI-XguQbS8cHgctCRYAAjm93jtf-9gJ6XwnWyQRt9Al-3pXBgRISb9UkZLfvhb12KzG7V-F7pubhYgaWypE63eKx9a59UTUfQ7KmMa-IpUuelKAo9VIdem7qBeIhZe3flahRwM7TVMBlPI4CFSb1Ijz3W4skMH0zVxBvl0EraxY9nz3zBW4bM0Q/s475/60811919._SY475_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="306" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJTBwyI-XguQbS8cHgctCRYAAjm93jtf-9gJ6XwnWyQRt9Al-3pXBgRISb9UkZLfvhb12KzG7V-F7pubhYgaWypE63eKx9a59UTUfQ7KmMa-IpUuelKAo9VIdem7qBeIhZe3flahRwM7TVMBlPI4CFSb1Ijz3W4skMH0zVxBvl0EraxY9nz3zBW4bM0Q/s320/60811919._SY475_.jpg" width="206" /></a></div> <p></p><h2 class="brownBackground"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/7737308.Sarina_Bowen">About Sarina Bowen</a></h2>

is rewarding to read about two people who need to figure out what is
important and find themselves in the process. Tara Wyatt decided to
create two people who were dealing with self-doubt and guilt, who were
letting these factors guide them in how they saw themselves, and then
gave them the chance to work through their obstacles together and find
love.<br /><br />Noah Prescot and Felicity Hawthorne have the perfect
meeting with him being the rugged fireman rescuing her from an old
elevator at the high school where she teaches. </b>The chemistry is off the wall from the start and both cannot stop thinking about each other long after that first connection. <br /><br />Then
there is another chance meeting between them at a charity auction and
the two of them have the opportunity to spend more time together. This
continues and soon both are sharing their personal stories of their
lives and how neither is dating. <br /><br />Now each person has their own
demons, Felicity feels like she may not be enough for someone to believe
in her. She was married to her first and he ended up cheating on her.
During these last eighteen months, she has had the time to think about
what her relationship was, and how one-sided it was to her ex's benefit.
She felt like she lost herself and now is coming around to being who
she really is. <br /><br />Noah is the responsible son. He looks out for
everyone and carries a heavy load, the heaviest being his guilt over his
father's death. He decided long ago to fill up his time and life by
being there for others and his brothers, and mom. <br /><br />This story
touches on the condition of looking inward and figuring out what is
important. love the way Penny Reid Writes. You can look at all of my Penny Reid
reviews, and more than likely they will be five stars and love letters.
She introduced me to intelligent, sneaky, witty romance and I love it.
With every book she does, she has the ability to weave life lessons for
us to ponder and digest coupled with a lovely romance to swoon over. <br /><br />This
book was similar to this, hit closer to Reid's home, gave us insight
into the state of STEM and Women, and also dealt with others that do not
fit in the "box" of typical personalities and actions. <br /><br />This
story has all of the hallmarks of a Reid book, however, it did tend to
focus much on details of the ideas and processes Ms. Reid wanted us to
be aware of. It gave us the swoon yet it also gave us much to consider. <br /><br />I
think this is a book that either the reader will adore, as there IS
much to love...or the length and way this particular book is written
maybe a bit more than the reader expected. There are many reviews that
give all the praise deserved as well as others that may be more
detailed. Please read them to give yourself the full picture of this
story. <br /><br />Either way, as promised, this is a "shorter review" for a Reid book, and I continue to love the writing of Ms. Reid. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqStWhTmD17sz2UWEYagWfbS4R90qypugh5KfJcUHRMqYA8a34HjmeBcw9XMH2njftCbIMNas04P_wlUF9XRx91wcya0y6Dzs7owSWSNArjdO7j6OpHt0ZlQWSA4EG33DTD5tYYxEdWb_ymC4zs8X3g-pQ5KsYuA_GMBu6fVqSPGVpIubCBHHmbkbL_Q/s475/59829197._SY475_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="302" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqStWhTmD17sz2UWEYagWfbS4R90qypugh5KfJcUHRMqYA8a34HjmeBcw9XMH2njftCbIMNas04P_wlUF9XRx91wcya0y6Dzs7owSWSNArjdO7j6OpHt0ZlQWSA4EG33DTD5tYYxEdWb_ymC4zs8X3g-pQ5KsYuA_GMBu6fVqSPGVpIubCBHHmbkbL_Q/s320/59829197._SY475_.jpg" width="203" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/5997227.Penny_Reid">About Penny Reid</a></span></h2></div><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span id="freeText10877783105614018817"><br />Penny Reid is the<i> New York Times,</i> <i>Wall Street Journal,</i> and<i> USA Today</i> bestselling author of the Winston Brothers and Knitting in the City

Sarina Bowen did it again. She has created a series, made it addictive,
and hasn't "Jumped The Shark" at all. She continues to make each and
every entry unique, interesting, flirty, and also brings human issues we
all can understand to the forefront. Thank You!<br /><br />So at the end of the last entry to this series, I had a taste or feel that Charli and Neil could be the next couple. </b>Each
had an instant reaction to the other, each was very different than the
other, and each was their own person, doing what they loved even if it
was difficult. <br /><br />Neil looks as if he has a perfect life. He is
talented, part of a winning NHL, and happens to be an heir with
unlimited financial means. He should be happy and enjoying all the
benefits of his life...and he does to a degree, yet his own family
thinks of him as a flake and gives all of his accomplishments no credit
or values. What he does and loves will never equal coming to work for
the family's companies and marrying the appropriate person. <br /><br />Charli
is someone who has had to work for everything she has acquired. It was
her early hockey talent that got her the scholarship to the quality
private school she went to. Hockey was always key but it did not stop
the ugly that comes with being the scholarship kid in class. It was a
good thing Charli developed her thick skin and honed her hockey talent. <br /><br />All
of the past brought her to the new Brooklyn Bombshells women’s team.
She is skating with a group of women who have all had to deal with the
financial hardships of playing hockey, loving it and, willing to make
the sacrifices. <br /><br />So when this women's team wins their first
All-Stars competition, Charli decides to let her hair down a bit. It
happens to coincide with Neil breaking up once and for all his long time
on again off again girlfriend. Neil and Charli, friends end up getting
very drunk, and naturally, those Las Vegas Cliche things happen. <br /><br />Nope,
no surprise bun in the oven...but there is an ugly ring, legal
documents, and a missed team plane ride that must be fixed. Neil and
Charli both agree this "mistake" needs to be fixed. The only problem is
some drunken actions keep filtering into the minds of both...and man
they were really good.<br /><br />This story had all the trademark moments I
love with Sarina Bowen's books. Each person was strong on their own,
each had their own issues and needed to deal with them, and when they
did deal with what needed to be realized, it was all good. <br /><br />A winner in my book.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjXDCHCIGp3KyBIHhl30JJ9qr6TCjupzgCVMUe_zefNZtV2A0nbTSD7itdAJ02bDFpR2N4ApfPzZJOOeHqD9LMXQckgQkv1Xo10sws_1iDgCvnBXwFzM9EwIS5oMtwjEatDahFB3z9Tm2DDN1HU9RPMKzSNCqjFv85LaLbz5KJojUC0GTd2VpmjcZz05A=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="317" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjXDCHCIGp3KyBIHhl30JJ9qr6TCjupzgCVMUe_zefNZtV2A0nbTSD7itdAJ02bDFpR2N4ApfPzZJOOeHqD9LMXQckgQkv1Xo10sws_1iDgCvnBXwFzM9EwIS5oMtwjEatDahFB3z9Tm2DDN1HU9RPMKzSNCqjFv85LaLbz5KJojUC0GTd2VpmjcZz05A=s320" width="214" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/7737308.Sarina_Bowen">About Sarina Bowen</a></span></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">

their backs. We have a taste of each and this time Bay's focus is on
Andrew. <br /><br />Oh, Andrew... A man who is driven; doesn't entertain
fools, and thinks small talk is completely a waste of time and silly. He
comes across as cold, curt, and some could wonder why have him as a
friend. <br /><br />Yet, there is another side of this man, and if it shows, one sees a caring individual. </b>That
side is just well hidden. Andrew runs an extremely successful company
that looks at other firms, sees where they are on the brink of loss and
comes in, reorganizes to make them profitable. Some see this as cold and
calculating but actually, he is trying to save jobs and the companies.<br /><br />Now
being this man's assistant is not easy and it turns out Natalie,
Sofia's bestie and the flat lender has had enough. She has reached her
limit of the man and walks off the job. Sofia is staying with Natalie
because she is on a personal mission of her own. The problem is even
with an MBA from an elite university, Sofia hasn't landed anything in
London, and when she hears of the salary Natalie just walked away from,
she asks if it would be ok if she went for it and tried to get Natalie's
job for herself. With a blessing from her friend, she goes for it.<br /><br />This
combination of "New York/New Jersey Italian Sofia and British Andrew"
is insane. She does not back down, he is silent, full of rules and when
he does talk, he is either rude or curt. <br /><br />Sofia has many plans
and complications, Andrew has an interest in Sofia, and both are locked
in this desire for each other fighting all the rules Andrew usually has.
And if that isn't enough, there is a business issue that places Sofia
and Andrew working together causing all kinds of complications. <br /><br />As
icing on this delicious cake is the chemistry that is undeniable
between these two. Bay is not shy in her scenes when characters get
together, she is an expert in sensuality. This has all of those elements
and more. You have two very strong characters, no milk toasts, hurrah,
and each is able to stand up and use their voices. <br /><br />Louise Bay
has created a very successful continuing/connected series, each with a
HEA and hints as to whose next. Since it was about six men's friends,
the only one left is Tristan. He is up next and I am sure, he will be
the hardest to fall.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgEjyG8LWeDVNTxZccLEwEnd8FxbzyFYP-19YcBIH0lDKStK__SG-IO_TZKFuOLShOOMy8Cz9PMnXe-s5GfvtI_Cdz0aJXk2qDb_kZ2skOMaWjpMUNK-3urOmAueWsG1UZxzwqOTn1q-yoSVZoMlrbMYJ8Rx-1jy5Ed5k0K4Q-Sy4qGRDE6ZfIEew0g5A=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="317" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgEjyG8LWeDVNTxZccLEwEnd8FxbzyFYP-19YcBIH0lDKStK__SG-IO_TZKFuOLShOOMy8Cz9PMnXe-s5GfvtI_Cdz0aJXk2qDb_kZ2skOMaWjpMUNK-3urOmAueWsG1UZxzwqOTn1q-yoSVZoMlrbMYJ8Rx-1jy5Ed5k0K4Q-Sy4qGRDE6ZfIEew0g5A=s320" width="214" /></a></div><p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/8056592.Louise_Bay">About Louise Bay</a></span></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">

Sawyer Bennett decided to do this new series about a hockey team
regrouping after an extremely tragic experience, she decided to not play
it safe. It is my opinion that she remembered or researched real-life
moments, such as when teams have been involved in fatal accidents, and
thought on how would those left behind recover and move forward. <br /><br />Not
an easy task, yet with the careful development of the new and old
characters we have met through Bennett's past hockey series, she has
done the impossible. She has given us people we can understand and root
for, knowing in the end with Bennett's signature writing, things will
come together. <br /><br />Stone's brother was on the Titan team's plane when it went down.</b>
Stone was dealing with the level of play he was doing in the minor
leagues. He had once been a star in NHL but an injury and personal
experience with his family made it difficult to recover fully. He and
his brother had been distant, only connecting with phone calls on
Christmas. The bitterness stemmed from parents who were masters at
manipulation.<br /><br />Now the Titans are regrouping and looking for
players. The call goes to Stone to join the team. The offer is something
he really cannot turn down, plus his love of the game has always been
there. However, Stone is shackled with feelings that cannot be ignored.
He is there because he is worthy or because he is the brother of the
lost player. This is something he has to get straight in his head.<br /><br />He
also has to deal with his brother's estate which he has no interest in.
Harlow Alston, his brother's attorney is after him to hear the reading
of the will and take care of the necessary papers.<br /><br />Harlow was
close to the fallen brother, knew him well, understood all the pressures
he was under and was always there for him. As a good friend, she heard
many stories about Stone, learned about the estrangement and how Stone's
brother wanted to reach out and fix things. <br /><br />Taking this
premise, giving it a real-life feel and understanding of all the
pressures professional players are under, the relationships of children
and driven parents, and the dealing with loss is all done so well. On
top of that, we get a first-rate relationship between Stone and Harlow. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi_G7QoVQ3ZTTMmvsCxbEVqqhzqm62Ty7d0y6miZbYnUP690TUfkbKuJ2DNreaGOGzqn-7fG49_Uh5-B8UF1-gVi9Wfc-d2-VFBhwTm8TAGBFvHXpByfs6fO2YkfWDGee8QLnwNDceGAAtKfVHxUj8DZPBxzImFUQUnK-kVPMFyHMOx5Mp-agTF4IqhMA=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="317" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi_G7QoVQ3ZTTMmvsCxbEVqqhzqm62Ty7d0y6miZbYnUP690TUfkbKuJ2DNreaGOGzqn-7fG49_Uh5-B8UF1-gVi9Wfc-d2-VFBhwTm8TAGBFvHXpByfs6fO2YkfWDGee8QLnwNDceGAAtKfVHxUj8DZPBxzImFUQUnK-kVPMFyHMOx5Mp-agTF4IqhMA=s320" width="214" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6950682.Sawyer_Bennett">About Sawyer Bennett</a></span></h2><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span id="freeText7415439878959180273">New York Times, USA

opens up with the newly promoted friends/co-workers celebrating the
creation of a stronger and fully funded non-profit where all will become
top executives. They are at the local bar and something unusual is
happening. <br /><br />Rix is flirting with Alex. Like, seriously flirting,
and she has no idea how to handle it. You see she has had a major crush
on him, him blind to it and her until this very moment.<br /><br />Overwhelmed
by all that is happening, Alex excuses herself from the table, goes to
the ladies' room to do self-talk, meets a gal who encourages her to go
for it, and then when Alex comes back to the table, Rix is over at the
bar...flirting someone else.<br /><br />Alex should have known better, what
was she thinking. Rix has never had any issues getting a woman, and even
after the traumatic loss of his lower legs due to his time as a
firefighter, he was known to be a bit of a player.<br /><br />Alex is so
not. She comes from a life that she hated, wealth, society, cold people,
and no feeling of family, except her father's grandmother. So when she
was old enough to leave, she ran to the place where the air was open,
the land welcoming, and used her talents to help those kids who needed a
chance. She left all those responsibilities, let her trust fund accrue
interest, and lived her life away from the drama. <br /><br />What Rix and
Alex have in common, though, besides the love of the outdoors and
wanting better for others, are their mutual friends. These people know
Rix and Alex are perfect for each other and think there just needs a
little push to get them to see it.<br /><br />It is Alex's sister's society
NYC wedding that becomes the push. In a moment of frustration, Alex
tells her sister she has a date and it is Rix. This news takes on a life
of its own due to the "small world of Society/Money" people. Now her
friends have a way to push a few buttons, and soon Rix is on board to do
the fake engagement for the wedding. <br /><br />That is the premise but boy, oh boy, there is so much more. <br /><br />We
have an in-depth look at what happens when a firefighter loses the
lower part of both legs, how he fights to regain a new life, and what he
had to deal with in the beginning and then...on a continuing basis. <br /><br />I
liked Alex, someone who was happy, well adjusted when she knew what was
happening around her. Smart, more than capable, just shy, and not
assertive with men. Rix was macho, alpha, smart, and mentally dealing
with a lot. This causes him to make some decisions that are not the
coolest but also has a way with Alex that has swoon-worthy moments. <br /><br />This
book gives a lot about personal challenges of all kinds, humanizes
disabilities, and talks about families. Yes, there were parts that
seemed a bit slow or drawn out, and yes, I had an inkling as to what the
big climax was going to be...<br /><br />But I also got some KA social moments, too. So for me, I was glad to have had the experience. <p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjV0ZQqfrz3KFXZmq-SuJPCN3D5AyVZ5wwysBSEkYZhQ5WPFET7mATkE5RUDvg1Jr4yzjY_0gCLpjLZAFxVQILVnzx9mM3Sy0QMbrdr7ZjyzvIp5nvhgpFmTvvjUdDNf5CbMQ8X-mJ6gFPmJQpt2zgOr8FxKDG0m9TmC5wgaJXtwhUKBgRK81RmY5QNmg=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="317" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjV0ZQqfrz3KFXZmq-SuJPCN3D5AyVZ5wwysBSEkYZhQ5WPFET7mATkE5RUDvg1Jr4yzjY_0gCLpjLZAFxVQILVnzx9mM3Sy0QMbrdr7ZjyzvIp5nvhgpFmTvvjUdDNf5CbMQ8X-mJ6gFPmJQpt2zgOr8FxKDG0m9TmC5wgaJXtwhUKBgRK81RmY5QNmg=s320" width="214" /></a></b></span></div><br /><p><br /></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/2958084.Kristen_Ashley">About Kristen Ashley</a></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">

has made it his purpose in life to look out for all of his family,
shield them from any more pain as they have all endured so much all
ready. This family has experienced too many members lost to explosions,
unfortunate gator contact, and other accidents. They have learned to
live and find joy overall and Zander works endlessly to keep them above
the fray, away from any dark happenings. <br /><br />When a beautiful
runaway bride marches into Ellie's Diner/Bar with a lion cub in a
carrier looking for Donavon, the endangered animal YouTube star,
Zander's cop radar goes off. This woman has too many things happening
with too many complications for Zander to know this will not have an
impact on him and his town and family. <br /><br />Zander is drawn to her
because she doesn't play games with him, she tried, but he saw right
through them. This causes Zander to strip away all of the BS our gal is

them. <br /><br />Over time, both cannot hide the chemistry and desire each has, and when they finally decide to act on it, Oh, Effin Boy! <br /><br />This

have loved from the start this series. The combination of Willow
Astor's and Laura Pavlov's creativity, humor, and epic sexy times make
these books winners from the start. With this latest entry, all the life
lessons learned are tested, stretched, and figured out. <br /><br />This
has the normal best friend, hot for each other BUT don't want to venture
there because the friendship will disappear theme. It starts with the
kiss that shall remain unmentioned, our fella scared and running, and
our G.D. Sister pissed. She has cut off her best friend, she was hurt by
his running like he always does, and has decided to cut him off from
any attention or contact. <br /><br />This is HUGE.</b> They had been tied
at the hip since kindergarten practically. So after many, many months,
our fella decides he cannot take it anymore and comes back to focus on
saving the friendship and maybe more. Because he cannot stop thinking
about her, her lips, the taste of her, anything about her. And he really
misses his best friend. She does too, so after much groveling she
relents and the friendship is back on track. <br /><br />Now the hook of
this is how they start to be "Friends w/Benefits". He is determined to
show his friend that she hasn't had "relations" that matter, she has
been missing out. He also decides that even though he wants so much more
like a forever time but hasn't figured that out yet, he starts to give
her all sorts of swoony times. <br /><br />The fun part of all of this is
that Everyone knows these two need to be together, together...not just
best friends. We get all the fun, hiccups, and happy endings. <br /><br />Yum, Yum.<p></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhWaOJ5YrlUCKzmaMj7_vNt3IHsu-clUMngc-32biA95L7mXvRngh0o8bRCIAZfMA8vof9QClrwvAk2ni1bPcaRuzr7yKDlGMlx1-Zhu9IaoXEdhZyR43DcsLuSeQfdZNs1AAXvaKIaDy4FRdU_45464Yh0Ryni31Kps-WYm9vb0omcm-P6w24Bc1VTNg=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="297" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhWaOJ5YrlUCKzmaMj7_vNt3IHsu-clUMngc-32biA95L7mXvRngh0o8bRCIAZfMA8vof9QClrwvAk2ni1bPcaRuzr7yKDlGMlx1-Zhu9IaoXEdhZyR43DcsLuSeQfdZNs1AAXvaKIaDy4FRdU_45464Yh0Ryni31Kps-WYm9vb0omcm-P6w24Bc1VTNg=s320" width="200" /></a></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6863360.Willow_Aster">About Willow Aster</a></span></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">

takes an author with a special talent and life experience to be able to
write certain stories. I happen to be of the opinion that L.B. Dunbar
has shown time and time again the ability to bring her understanding of
mature love to the masses. <br /><br />As the population ages, it has been
so important for them not to feel forgotten. It is so easy to ignore
those who have lived a bit and experienced life. Especially those who
are women. Men seem to be able to still be the focus no matter what age
group matched with age gap troupes. But when it comes to women...only if
certain circumstances are there, are they able to find love. Dunbar
breaks those barriers and gives us equals on this playing field of love.
Thank you.<br /><br />With Hauling Ashe, we get a woman who is about to
embark on a road trip to see the country but more importantly, to find
herself.</b> She has been released from a marriage that ended and it is
now her turn to discover all the things she never had the time to do.
She is feisty, sassy, and fun. She is also no-nonsense and brave. <br /><br />The
counterpoint of this woman is a grumpy, demanding man who is used to
people jumping and performing his wishes when he speaks. His daughter is
getting married and due to a no-flying phobia, the refusal to take a
train, and the arranged driver canceling at the last moment, it becomes a
fateful connection causing these two to become road trip partners. <br /><br />This
forced trip opens all sorts of opportunities for them to discover and
be surprised by how they work together. Each pushes certain buttons,
each learns more about each other and themselves, causing walls to come
down and hearts to open. All with the delicate hand of L.B. Dunbar's
guiding them. <br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiT9fmmTgbuN0DIY2qgLCXT44v9U_yv5sHqkr-adTo6QGqcjtLYwdvseGMtqHRzDDLq9VHRFt0Ny20clthQsuUYpHAzs25qkKRO4xGjV-XHdvDscP7f1sY4ZTLGQfOb_CIckS2TCoB2r6C3NDWYU9-cGAHHR6nRvQyIxrNLjZmp0eMI6Qrbp7nbi4z8vw=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="296" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiT9fmmTgbuN0DIY2qgLCXT44v9U_yv5sHqkr-adTo6QGqcjtLYwdvseGMtqHRzDDLq9VHRFt0Ny20clthQsuUYpHAzs25qkKRO4xGjV-XHdvDscP7f1sY4ZTLGQfOb_CIckS2TCoB2r6C3NDWYU9-cGAHHR6nRvQyIxrNLjZmp0eMI6Qrbp7nbi4z8vw=s320" width="199" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/8195738.L_B_Dunbar">About L.B. Dunbar has an over-active imagination. To her benefit, such creativity
has led to over thirty romance novels, including those offering a second
chance at love over 40. Her signature works include the
#sexysilverfoxes collection of mature males and feisty vixens ready for
romance in their prime years. She’s also written stories of small-town
romance (Heart Collection), rock star mayhem (The Legendary Rock Stars
Series), and a twist on intrigue and redemption (Redemption Island
Duet). She’s had several alter egos including elda lore, a writer of
romantic magical realism through mythological retellings (Modern
Descendants). In another life, she wanted to be an anthropologist and
journalist. Instead, she was a middle school language arts teacher. The
greatest story in her life is with the one and only, and their four
grown children. Learn more about L.B. Dunbar by joining her reader group

years. <br /><br />In Take A Chance With Me, we finally have Cameron Cox being real about his feelings for Maggie O’Callaghan.</b>
He was always much older than her, a best friend of the family, and
kept his distance because he felt it was the right thing to do. Yet, one
night when Maggie matured, she pursued him and things almost happened.
He wasn't able to continue the pursuit due to unforeseen circumstances
and Maggie has never recovered from this perceived snub. <br /><br />Now it
is years later and Cameron has decided this game needs to be over.
Maggie is for him and he will do whatever it takes to convince her he is
sincere. Both are strong-willed, convincing will need to be full force,
but Cameron is up for the task. <br /><br />Kristen Proby continues to give the readers a family, a couple, and a story to engage. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiLFlHDSuB2IcbGY58SaL6DKVn5sHq1dErLDoakKzu7_bFf3SRLNhcGrvPO9DnyhM4kIptrLePj-4BkDe-hjcg5o_YGLS_I9nGsWl-pdVETiLDDSIQMEdOZa4vDIBnikodmOfDXtVZtgY5rs7mYr2Sh0bPjU0tVpXI1AqRpogy6nnZuMiB2b2x06e0lrg=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="306" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiLFlHDSuB2IcbGY58SaL6DKVn5sHq1dErLDoakKzu7_bFf3SRLNhcGrvPO9DnyhM4kIptrLePj-4BkDe-hjcg5o_YGLS_I9nGsWl-pdVETiLDDSIQMEdOZa4vDIBnikodmOfDXtVZtgY5rs7mYr2Sh0bPjU0tVpXI1AqRpogy6nnZuMiB2b2x06e0lrg=s320" width="206" /></a></div><p></p><p><br /></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6550037.Kristen_Proby">About Kristen Proby</a></span></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">

After years of having all eyes on her, she is happy to just be, do what she wishes, when she wishes, and decide where the wind will take her when she wants. Right now, what she wants is to hike and scale the Glacier in the National Park in Montana.<br /><br />She is living her best life in a van and arrived in Montana in late September. Remi happens to meet Seth at the local bar, some flirting and interest are exchanged as well as some serious advice for Remi. Seth learned Remi wanted to hike to the Glacier and explained Montana had a snowstorm coming. Remi laughed and said, again...It's September. Seth, a Park Ranger/Outdoors Expert, explained Montana is not like any other place when it comes to weather.<br /><br />Remi was well rested after a day napping and being lazy, had all of the right equipment for her hike, and took off to see the sight she had wanted to scale forever. Things were going well until the little snow flurries started to come down.<br /><br />The little flurries became the storm she was warned about and Remi needed to get to someplace for shelter. As she tried to get to a locked Resort, Seth ends up coming and rescuing her. Seth had been concerned when he saw her van at the foot of the hike and radioed to let the crew know he was going in to get Remi.<br /><br />These two end up at the locked location, sparks continue to fly, and we get a couple starting to see that there may be more than just interest.<br /><br />Remi and Seth both have secret histories and it is with the needing each other, they find the safe shelter they deserve. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgEmfJJq27OWs66_nospjOZbZr0Rv7IgyFRbJfkHqESvreICps10Dlnb450_VTH-DF8j5ltxKaghAMs7IXlHqbn2zkaOwQRXZAgFQF4_fvfWFyC285qGTAGBN07YcCabnpyLRXr5p8E9SlIhEsX4UHm8rqpkUm9kXLSSUmwJkLtdzDEFOND1XyRzpmkkg=s475" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="316" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgEmfJJq27OWs66_nospjOZbZr0Rv7IgyFRbJfkHqESvreICps10Dlnb450_VTH-DF8j5ltxKaghAMs7IXlHqbn2zkaOwQRXZAgFQF4_fvfWFyC285qGTAGBN07YcCabnpyLRXr5p8E9SlIhEsX4UHm8rqpkUm9kXLSSUmwJkLtdzDEFOND1XyRzpmkkg=s320" width="213" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div class="h2Container gradientHeaderContainer"><h2 class="brownBackground"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6550037.Kristen_Proby">About Kristen Proby</a></h2></div><div class="bigBoxBody"><div class="bigBoxContent containerWithHeaderContent">
