Spoiler Free-A Quick Review
This was a delight in the way we got to know these characters. It had everything an Opposites Attract/Slow Burn requires.
We have a well-meaning sister setting up a blind date for a wedding. Charlie
only happens to be the billionaire tech boss of the sister, and the
date, Cherry is the complete opposite of this man. Cherry is artsy,
fashion-focused in her work, and at first, does not see any connection
with Charlie.
But Charlie has a secret...when he first saw
Cherry visiting her sister at work three years ago, something
happened...he fell hard. Now he has an opportunity to connect with
Cherry and he is going to give it his best shot.
The way these
two connect is nothing like other dates either has had in the past. They
start to go on "friend dates". These get-togethers reveal so much that
it is only a matter of time before feelings start to develop that are
real and can't be ignored.
This was a sweet, fun read, and had surprising depth.
