This laid the course of both of them not acting on any feelings they may have had, even after Avery broke up with the friend.
Years have gone by and that line has never been crossed. Then life throws these two a wake-up call in the form of a car accident. Avery is hurt and will need help while she heals. Declan realizes all the time he has wasted and while Avery is healing, let the fun begin.
