Erin Nicholas, You Are The Woman. PERIOD.
You have taken the brother's best friend, the lose the Vcard, the Hatfield/McCoy Enemies added the Sexiest Use of Bakery Products and made it all work perfectly. This is a book that will make you Happily Break Your Diet and Dive in. YUM!

Seriously, all kidding aside, this book is a winner in so many ways.
We have a small town that has been divided by two different families and their businesses. The owners were once dear friends and worked together creating bakery goods. Then one of the women thought to do something very different than what her friend thought would work. This was the root of the feud between these families and it carried over into generations.

You had the sweet, charming, family-owned, tried and true bakery vs. the big mass producing (think Hostess) cupcake-treats sold all over in markets, 7/11's, etc. This small town was almost a company town because a large portion of the population was dependent on employment at the large baked goods factory...and this has been going on for decades.

This is the backdrop to our story and it has major importance because of our two main characters and how all of this impacts them.

Zoe McCaffery grew up learning of the family feud at the knee of her grandmother and mother. She learned the family business as a tot and the sweet bakery is now her responsibility. She has been running it all on her own with another friend working there as her assistant. Zoe is now at that stage in her life where still having her Vcard is annoying and something she wishes to get rid of.

The only problem is Zoe didn't feel comfortable doing this with just anyone in her small town. Small towns have no secrets and she didn't want to see or hear from the gossip mill about how awkward she knew she would be. So she had a plan...

Aiden Anderson would be perfect for what Zoe wanted. She knew him and he knew her forever. He had grown up and became this smart, genius business guy. Her brother and Aiden were best buds and with a couple of other guys, they created a tech thing that became huge. It recently was bought and now they are billionaires.

Zoe approached Aiden during his Christmas visit from Chicago...entering his room dressed only in hot pink undies straight from Victoria's Secret. Aiden knew this was not a hit it and quit it thing...this was Zoe... the woman he had thought about for years. When he lifted Zoe from the bed and told her no, it wasn't that he didn't want her...But that was not what Zoe thought. She was crushed.

Now 5 months later Aiden has a plan to make Zoe his and also make an impact in this small town. You see the factory owner, the family Zoe hates with a passion, has decided to sell. The remaining family members need to infuse money and the main brother wants out. This situation gives Aiden something new to work on, allow him to move back and also make his home town better. People will not lose their jobs and maybe with new management and fresh eyes, he can make it a better place to work.

And all of this is great...except the fact Zoe will think he is the enemy and he wants to be "Her One".

This was a terrific start of a series. It had everything and it presented future main characters in a way so that you would want to follow them. The chemistry between Aiden and Zoe was hot...smokin' hot and there were many inventive ways used for their sexy times.

I cannot wait for what comes next. There are 3 men who have distinct personalities, women who may be the perfect matches for them and a small town to gossip all about them. Perfect.
