Coming Up Roses by Staci Hart

Staci Hart has become a serious GO TO for me. She has a way of making you invested from the very first page. Her talent in presenting a situation between two people which holds all the cards is so strong. She will have a miscommunication or some type of assumptions between the couple laying the foundation for all of the ups, downs and "Come to Jesus" moments which we will delight following.

Coming Up Roses does just that.
Tess is smart, more than capable and has been the hands for the Mother who started the flower shop where she works. She learned everything from the woman and now does all of the arrangements. She also does her own thing with Instagram, photographing arrangements in a very special way drawing a huge following. She loves where she works, has friends and all is good until Luke shows up.

Who is Luke, you may ask...

Well, years ago Luke was Tess's crush for forever. He was one of the sons and when Tess was experiencing the most pain a person can bare, Luke made her feel better and shared an earthshattering kiss. Tess thought Luke finally understood she was meant for him and he was all in...Until the next day when he walked into the shop and then ignored her...going off with her best friend to swap spit in the hothouse.

Yeah, Tess does not like Luke, does not want him around and thinks he is the worst...

Until she realizes there is more to this grown-up Luke. Like his desire to help the family save the flower shop. Like his believing in her and letting her use her talents to promote the store. Like seeing him through a more mature view and giving him his due.

We get a terrific story to watch and learn how to woo a woman. Luke is a delight and Tess becomes everything he wants. There are some serious hiccups for both of them and some of the plot and behavior wasn't my fav...But overall this story was just the perfect read.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life: a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom to three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, even though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey, and her favorite word starts with f, ends with k.

From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north in Denver, until they grew a wild hair and moved to Holland. It’s the perfect place to overdose on cheese and ride bicycles, especially along the canals, and especially in summertime. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, gaming, or designing graphics.
