When Louise Bay gave us The Ruthless Gentleman, she introduced us to the Wolfe Brothers and the luxury but deceptively complicated life and times on Mega Yacht Charters for the wealthy. At the end of my review for this first entry, I wrote:

Well, my desire has come to pass. The Wrong Gentleman is Landon Wolfe's story. He is a man who worked Special Forces, had an extremely successful security company-sold it and is now about to take on another secret position with the British Services.

Oh, did I mention he is British... with the accent and all...Yes, he has all the elements to make women's panties melt upon coming in contact with him. He is Alpha, polite and oh so sexy. Yup... This is a man who is on a break and looking for a bit of fun before his next venture.

Skylar Anderson learned her lessons well at an early age.They were not the usual of love and caring. No, they were so ugly and evil, she swore off men and anyone who would ever control her. She understood what control meant and became well versed in being a consummate professional in her career as the Head Steward for Luxury Charters. She had focused, became indispensable, and this upcoming charter was the pathway to reaching her ultimate goal, a continuing long term position.

Now just because Skylar has no trust in men, it doesn't mean she can't enjoy them. When Skylar catches Landon's eye, it becomes questionable who is actually pursuing whom...and since both make it extremely clear they are one night only players...This "coming together" is off the charts for both. The shock for Landon is that it is Skylar who is kicking him out.

Landon was on a break but when asked to do one more undercover assignment, he decides to help out. He is to work a yacht and see what exactly is going on...When he walks onto the deck, Skylar and Landon are surprised to see the other there. He has no idea what exactly Skylar's involvement is...and Skylar is not going to let a one-night stand...no matter how great or revealing stop her from being professional and reaching her career goal.

When I titled this review When Like Finds Like...it referred to how both of these people have deep secrets they hide, have built hard and fast rules for their lives, yet also have a sweetness and human side they kept under-wraps. Both of them are connecting whether they want it or not... and Landon knows he will do whatever it takes to protect this woman who has gotten under his skin.

Both of these characters were strong. You became attached from the start and with the intrigue and sexy times, Louise Bay delivered another story for readers to enjoy.
