Let's see-
There is Ashton, a beautiful woman who recently caught her fiancee cheating on her. She is stunned by this cheater and decides No Men for her...
There is her bestie who sends her out to the local watering hole to find a stud to cleanse out the memories of said cheating ex...
There at the bar is Jax..having the worst arranged date ever. He sees Ashton, follows her to the back of the bar and before they exchange names or anything...
They Are Kissing...Like Life Changing Type Kissing...
Jax tells Ashton he will be right back, he just has to take care of something... Like take home the girl he brought...Unfortunately, he gets stuck doing all sorts of things for his sister and never gets back to Ashton...
Which makes her hate men even more because she felt something for this unknown guy.
Oh Well...
Ashton has her grandmother's house and she is trying to figure out how to get it repaired and made into a B&B. Ashton thought outside the box by reaching out to a major YouTube Personality Jax Roland AKA The Right Stud. He does home renovations and repairs in his videos. She sent him an email detailing what she wanted to do and since Jax was coming down South to see his sis, it was perfect. He wants to become the next big HGTV star and she needed the place fixed.
Needles to say, when he shows up a tad early on her back porch, she is just as shocked as he is... It is the Great Kissing Guy who stood her up. Gah...
So that is the set up... But there is more, so much more. Wonderful secondary characters, an actual Goat, a swearing blue tongued parrot and the best older, inappropriate loving friend of her grandmother's. All of these elements could seem over the top and not blend...
Instead Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise crafted something that will make you laugh, get weak in the knees and care for all of them.
