Sometimes we don't understand why we react the way we do...It is like we think we are a certain way... and it is set in stone. If we think we aren't worth happiness or we are an accident waiting to happen...Then there can't be any way someone could love us... and if they did... We would only hurt them in the end...Smartest thing would be to push them away, right...
Well, that was the reasoning Will had when he pushed Tori away all those years ago...It was the huge Elephant in the room when Tori came back to work at the Adventure Company Will and his brothers created. Forget that Tori was part of the planning of it and gave them equal ideas and should have been there from the start....

Want You More (Mile High Romance #3) by Nicole Helm is part of a series which revolves around brothers who have created an Adventure Company in Gracely, Colorado. Even though I hadn't read the earlier books, I had no problem understanding the dynamics of family and friends. This was a tight knit group who cared deeply about one another.
The couple in question had a history which was full of pain. It cause our gal to leave this idea they all dreamt of together. When she needed to start over after 7 years of running from Gracely, she swallowed her pride and asked one of the Evan brothers for a position. He welcomed her back with open arms...Will, not so much.
We follow these two as they go through all the methods of hiding their feelings from each other, whether affection or anger...and then the coming to the realization there is a confusing but honest history that must be worked out for everyone to move forward.
What I loved was Will's realization of his need to figure all of this out... no matter how painful it was.... and if he was respectful of Tori... they both might have a second chance....of what he wasn't sure...but it was worth a shot to try.
