Ok, so I'll be the first to admit that I have never read a book by either author before, but when I saw the ARC requests come through, I thought to myself, "This sounds like its gonna be DIRTY KINKY fun!" ;D
This is the 3rd book in the Kincaid brothers series, and it focuses on Officer Levi Kincaid.
Now for those of you who have not read any of the other books in this series, let me just some it up. Each book focuses on one of the Kincaid brothers. These boys have had a rough childhood, but the bond they share has made them into the strong alpha men they are today.
So what's this one about, well, convenience store clerk Sarah has escaped the clutches of her crazy ex-boyfriend, so she's only in town until she can save up enough money to start a new life elsewhere.
The convenience store is where Levi first sees Sarah. He notices a vulnerability about her which draws him in. In the weeks he has known her, they have skirted around their feelings, until one day Levi is hurt on the job trying to protect her.
This is a quick, sweet and steamy read that certainly lives up to it's name, so if you're looking for a somewhat drama free read with a sexy as hell alpha and a sugary sweet female lead, then look no further than this instalment in the Kincaid Brothers series.
