3ish Over the Top in Alpha Stars
* * *
I enjoyed Olivia Cummings' Sinners series. The first book was my intro to rock band goodness... all the alpha brooding men with dirty talk to die for. The set up of a woman on the bus with them...and all of the fun which happened struck me as a great read. Loved It.
This entry had a new Rock Band, an extremely innocent gal for the main character but with the ability to play off her inexperience verbally. She had a gap in her experience and our Rock God was very willing to help her with it. This was the set up and like most of these types of stories... fun and games took place.
There were added elements...and the pull of heartstrings for a sister with Down's. These moments were caring and even our Rock God showed how "human and loving" he could be.
The high points as always were the things our randy fellow would whisper or say out right to his object of affection...wonderfully naughty, yummy things.
For me... it was a bit longish in all of the ramp up, finding their way to be together and outcome. She wasn't totally my fave and he almost was a bit over the top in his immediate affection and interest for her.
A bit of fun...a bit of nasty and always Cummings' Rock & Roll.
