Syopsis
What happens when a single mom’s four-year-old daughter falls in love with Mr. Right and she doesn’t?
Maggie Tyson’s rule: no bad boys. Her incarcerated ex-husband broke her of that attraction. Needing to escape his threats and the scrutiny of the people in her hometown, Maggie relocates to New York City. Determined to not make the same mistakes, she has a mile-long list of dos and don’ts. I think my favorite character in this book had to be CeCe...she definitely stole the show for me. Now Maggie on the other hand did start to get on my nerves with constantly turning down Rick but keeping him around.
I understand Maggie's reluctance in not wanting to get into a relationship after the type she had before, but to me it felt like she was keeping him on a string to appease herself.
All in all, I enjoyed this story and it would be a perfect beach read!
