I was lucky enough to be able to read both books together and what a journey I went on!  I absolutely loved Kid….she rocked my world – now, folks…Kid is what heroines are made of…she has every characteristic of a perfect MC.  She is strong, she is sassy, she takes no shit and has her boys doing headstands for her.  She is loyal and she loves with her WHOLE HEART!!

These books blew me away and kept me fidgeting to find out how this web of suspense was going to play out.  BUT there were times I did get extremely pissed off at the characters and the choices they made – the only one I loved through everything was Aaron – he was a true friend who I wish could have been more for Kid.  I honestly think he would have given up all his whoring ways to be with the one love in his life.

I think I have found a new author that I will be following diligently with all her future releases.

Blackness Takes Over is Norma Jeanne’s debut novel. What began as an homage to the home town of a homesick Midwestern girl, unfolded a story of love, danger, humor, and trust. She’s currently working on her untitled sophomore effort. We can’t wait to see what thrilling saga she leads us through next!

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Norma Jeanne recently found herself relocating to the United Kingdom. Now living in Belfast, she took hold of the opportunity to kick the 9-5 job for a chance to become an author.
