Don't Make me Beautiful - Elle Casey

*****5 Heartbreaking warming Stars*****
There are so many words I can think to describe this masterpiece but so few to describe the whole story in a nutshell.
I cried, laughed, swooned, hated, sighed, etc......This book touches every emotion while reading and so few authors have this ability to really make the reader FEEL
Nicole is a young woman trapped in a relationship with a monster. A monster who has beaten her so bad that her face is distorted and has left her looking like a monster.

It's beautiful how the author creates an ironic "MONSTER" in both Nicole and John. Nicole may look like a monster on the outside but she is beautiful inside, while John looks beautiful on the outside but inside him lives a monster capable of horrific things.
Nicole has lived a life of fear, abuse, and self-loathing for the past 3 years before Brian swoops in as a guardian angel to save Nicole from John and her life. Brian works on healing Nicole's physical wounds along with building up her self-worth. He sees Nicole for the angel she is in the inside and they both fall in love with each other.
There are so many twists and turns in this book that will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time. After I finished this book - I was so curious as to who the woman was which the story was based on, but the author didn't disclose this.
I was horrified thinking that woman deal with the same type of abuse that Nicole did.
This is definitely a book worth reading and I will follow this author to see what other books she has and will write.
